I am planning to move to OMV 6 in the next six months but I would like to get syncthing working before then. I would appreciate if anyone can point me in the proper direction to take. I've tried SSH tunneling and that didn't work for it either. This is a headless install so I no access to a browser on the local machine (pi 4). I've tried installing to different locations and drives but still the same results. I run syncthing -paths and it shows me where they should be, but they're not. Portainer shows it installed and running but I can't get to the syncthing GUI and I can't find any of its config files (config.xml, cert.pem, key.pem, https-cert.pem, https-key.pem, csrftokens.txt). The user was installed under Access Rights Management, User. In this specific example, a username and password was created on the Primary Server to facilitate replicating shares. But now when I try to install syncthing its not creating config.xml and all the other files under /config or any location I can find. In the example following, the Primary (remote) Server is another installation of OMV on the local LAN. To make a long story short I mucked it up and ended up having to reinstall Docker all over again. ![]() Several months later I wanted to change the location of my data volume and so made some changes. I've followed the instructions from and it worked well when I first installed it. I'm using OMV-extras to configure Docker and Portainer. I'm having issues on OMV 5 running syncthing in a Docker container. But now when I try to install syncthing its not creating config.xml and all the other files under /config or any location I can find.
